I was visiting the area and stopped by Wal Mart last week and noticed my phone said 4G "HSPA" and I called T-Mobile and confirmed that 29020 was being upgraded to 4G. Which is great because it's been 2G since SunCom 2008. T-Mobile is hard at work expanding their blazing fast network
1.) Unlimited High Speed Data. You can go to T-Mobile and get truely Unlimited Data for as little as 10 dollars a month. No National Carrier can offer a deal as a good as that.
2.) No 2 years contracts. Why bother being married to a carrier for 2 years. With T-Mobile Your not tied down. You have flexibility.
3.) Nationwide Network. Blazing Fast Speeds that reach 97% of Americans. Make sure your covered before switching.
4.) Best Prepaid plans in the country. From GoSmart Mobile, Solavei, Metro PCS, & Family Mobile No carrier not even AT&T can offer unlimited data and many different plans. As T-Mobile does. I dare you to find something better...!
5.) Affordability T-Mobile is very Affordable that's why a lot of people switch. AT&T & Verizon is too expensive and don't offer good pricing as T-Mobile does. So hey why not switch. Save Money!
T-Mobile is currently raising money to acquire more spectrum but they didn't say from whom? Could it be U.S. Cellular? Dish Network? Sprint? No one knows we'll have to see in the coming weeks what theyre plans will be.... read more here ! http://www.tmonews.com/2013/11/t-mobile-announces-plans-to-sell-1-8-billion-in-stock-to-invest-in-more-spectrum/
I had a 500 Day time minute plan with T-Mobile literally this March 2013. Now according to Forbes since T-Mobile introduced Simple Choice. They axed Minute Plans and now AT&T has axed minute plans and now offer only unlimited talk. Making the days of Minute Plans a thing of the past... for the BIG 4 Carriers. I recieved my SGH I717 on October 13th 2013. I was looking for a unlocked phone that would work on T-Mobile Network. So I did some research and the Samsung SGH I717 look pretty attracting. It suppprted T-Mobile 2G Network 850mhz 1900mhz . T-Mobile has been refarming their network 1900mhz frequency so Non AWS smartphone such as Iphone 3G
iphone 4 & 4S will get 3G on the network. So I would have 3G in the city i live in. When I looked up what frequencies the SGH I717 supported from GSMArena.com 2G 1900mhz 850hmz
3G 1900mhz 850mhz
LTE 1700hmz 2100hmz 700hmzSo the SGH I717 will work on T-Mobile 2G 3G and 4G LTE NetworkI went to my local T-Mobile store and they set me up with a new sim card. SGHI717 uses a regular large Sim Card. Once I put in the T-Mobile Apn settings I was ready to go. Software: When I unboxed SGH I717 It came woth Andriod 4.0. I downloaded Samsung Kies and Updated to Android 4.1. and I really liked the difference. Andriod 4.0 on the SGH I717 was terrible you could tell the phone had Andriod 2.3 which makes a bad experience. 4.1. made it seem more modern. Overall I'm happy with software. Hardware: 1GB RAM is my major problem with the device. It should have had 2GB. I have to make sure I clear RAM. And have a App Killer Application to make my device run smooth. Other then that I'm content with Hardware.S-Pen: I love the S-Pen. Its a pretty cool tool. You can screen shot with it. You Can cut out post, pictures and use S-Memo to create cool cuetimzed articles and Pictures. It helps keep my Instagram interesting. Overall: Overall I'm happy with my Galaxy Note 1. T-Mobile Network is awesome in my area. So if your looking for a good deal this is one. I love my Note and is satisfied. Hopefully you'll be too.
